This number is a snapshot. Child support depends on parenting time, and parenting time drifts — swapped weekends, changed holidays, summer schedules. Vireo keeps the custody calendar, messages and shared expenses in one timestamped record, so what actually happened is never a matter of memory.

For non-shared placement, apply 17%, 25%, 29%, 31%, or 34% of the payer's monthly income available for one through five-or-more children. For shared placement (each parent at least 25% or 92 days/equivalent care), apply the designated percentage to each income, multiply each by 150%, multiply by time with the other parent, and offset, with the payer owing the lesser of that result or the ordinary designated-percentage amount. Separate serial-family, split, low-income, high-income, and combined-special-circumstance rules apply.
How income is counted: Monthly income available for child support is annual gross income, income modified for business expenses, imputed earning-capacity income, imputed income where little information is known, and imputed income from assets, divided by 12. DCF 150 defines inclusions/exclusions; child support received, public assistance, and SSI are excluded.
