Convert all inputs to weekly amounts; determine each parent's net income; combine net incomes and select the Appendix IX-F basic award for one through six children; allocate by income share; add net child care, health insurance for the children, predictable unreimbursed health care above the embedded amount, and other permitted expenses; apply sole-parenting or shared-parenting worksheet mechanics and self-support/other-dependent deductions to obtain the support order.
How income is counted: Appendix IX-B uses recurring earned and unearned gross income, with business-income adjustments and exclusions, then converts to weekly net income through allowable deductions and the Appendix IX-H tax-withholding method.
