Calculate each parent's monthly net income on Worksheet 1; combine net incomes and obtain the total obligation from Table 1 for the number of children; allocate by each parent's net-income percentage; add child care, health insurance and nonreimbursed health-care provisions; use separate worksheets/rules for split custody, joint physical custody, deviations and third-party residence.
How income is counted: Total monthly income under §4-204 includes income derived from all sources, subject to rule-defined exclusions and earning-capacity treatment; §4-205 then applies taxes, mandatory retirement and other allowed deductions to determine monthly net income.
