Combine monthly net incomes, select the basic schedule amount for child count, allocate by each parent's net-income share, apply the 40%-plus shared-custody formula when applicable, and allocate child care, health insurance, unreimbursed medical, educational, and other additional expenses.
How income is counted: Monthly gross income ordinarily uses at least a six-month average and includes income from any source. Monthly net income subtracts only deductions allowed by Rule 1910.16-2, including specified taxes, mandatory payroll deductions, union dues, and qualifying support obligations.
