This number is a snapshot. Child support depends on parenting time, and parenting time drifts — swapped weekends, changed holidays, summer schedules. Vireo keeps the custody calendar, messages and shared expenses in one timestamped record, so what actually happened is never a matter of memory.

Use both parents' adjusted monthly gross income and the section 48-13-301 table to find the basic obligation, allocate by income share, add uninsured health care, children's health premium, work-related child care, and extraordinary expenses/credits, then calculate the transfer on Worksheet A. For extended shared parenting, multiply basic support by 1.6, weight each parent's share by the child's time with the other parent, add variable expenses, and offset on Worksheet B.
How income is counted: Monthly gross and adjusted gross income are defined in chapter 48, including earned/unearned income, self-employment income, attributed income, and statutory exclusions. Adjusted gross income subtracts allowable preexisting support, maintenance, and qualifying student-loan payments actually paid, with the student-loan deduction capped at 25% of gross income and subject to court discretion.
