This is an estimate for information only — not legal advice, and not a court calculation. Judges can and do deviate from guideline amounts. For the number a court would use, see Washington State Child Support Schedule.
This number is a snapshot. Child support depends on parenting time, and parenting time drifts — swapped weekends, changed holidays, summer schedules. Vireo keeps the custody calendar, messages and shared expenses in one timestamped record, so what actually happened is never a matter of memory.

Determine combined monthly net income, use the economic table to select the basic support obligation per child for the family size, multiply by the number of children, allocate the basic obligation by each parent's proportional net-income share, add proportional health care, day care, education, and special child-rearing expenses, apply credits, limitations, and any written deviation, then determine the transfer payment.
How income is counted: Monthly net income is gross monthly income under RCW 26.19.071 less only the statutory deductions, including federal income tax, FICA/mandatory pension contributions, mandatory union/professional dues, state industrial insurance, qualifying maintenance, and qualifying support actually paid. Income from excluded sources is disclosed where the statute requires but not included in the basic calculation.
