Determine each parent's monthly guideline income and permissible deductions; combine income available for support; derive each parent's share; obtain the basic obligation from the monthly Family Support Chart; allocate the basic obligation by income share; add and allocate child health insurance, extraordinary medical expenses, and work-related child care; credit direct payments; determine the presumed monthly order. The official non-joint calculator rounds the final presumed order down to the nearest dollar.
How income is counted: Child-support-guideline income is defined in Administrative Order 10 and begins broadly with income from all sources, subject to enumerated exclusions, self-employment treatment, imputation, and permissible deductions for court-ordered child support and spousal support recognized by the Order.
