Before you open a blank calendar
Four things to put on paper
The ordinary week
Write down each overnight, the repeating cycle, its starting date, and exact exchange times. Check the school calendar for days when a school-based handoff cannot happen.
The exceptions
List holidays, school breaks, birthdays and vacations separately. Note which exception takes priority and when the ordinary schedule resumes.
The practical details
Keep exchange locations, transportation responsibilities, notice periods and belongings together. Record agreed changes without losing the original arrangement.
Decisions and communication
Keep decision-making responsibilities distinct from parenting time. Note how updates, questions and proposed changes will be shared, consistent with your order.
If contact or exchanges raise safety concerns, seek qualified local help and follow any protective orders. A shared app does not replace a safety plan.
Bring the everyday details together
Vireo brings schedules, messages, shared expenses and family updates into one place. Review an imported plan before saving it, then keep everyday coordination alongside it.
