This number is a snapshot. Child support depends on parenting time, and parenting time drifts — swapped weekends, changed holidays, summer schedules. Vireo keeps the custody calendar, messages and shared expenses in one timestamped record, so what actually happened is never a matter of memory.

Combine monthly adjusted gross income; obtain the basic combined support obligation from the statutory schedule; allocate by each parent's percentage of combined income; calculate each parent's parenting-time credit under § 14-10-115(8)(h) and subtract it; apply minimum-order, low-income, and self-support-reserve rules; allocate work/education child care, child health insurance, extraordinary medical, and extraordinary expenses by income share; credit excess direct payment of adjustments; offset the parents' adjusted obligations to obtain the recommended payment.
How income is counted: Monthly gross income under C.R.S. § 14-10-115, adjusted by the worksheet for maintenance received/paid, ordered child support for other children, and legal responsibility for other children. The statute controls inclusions, exclusions, self-employment income, potential income, and other-child deductions.
