Combine adjusted actual monthly income; select the basic obligation from §12-204(e); allocate by income share; add proportionate work-related child care, health insurance, extraordinary medical, cash medical where applicable and allowed additional expenses; credit direct payments. Shared custody at 25% or more for each parent multiplies basic support by 1.5, cross-weights each theoretical obligation by the other parent's overnight percentage and offsets.
How income is counted: Monthly actual income before taxes under §12-201, adjusted for preexisting child support actually paid, alimony paid/received or awarded in the case, and the statutory multifamily adjustment.
