Determine each parent's adjusted gross income, combine it, select the basic child support obligation from the schedule for the number of children, prorate by each parent's income share, add each parent's share of health insurance, work-related child care, and recurring uninsured medical expenses, apply parenting-time and other qualified-child credits, then offset the parents' obligations to obtain the presumptive child support order.
How income is counted: Gross income of each parent includes income from any source, earned or unearned, before taxes and before credits for other qualified children, subject to the inclusions, exclusions, self-employment rules, imputation rules, and averaging provisions in Rule 1240-02-04-.04.
