This number is a snapshot. Child support depends on parenting time, and parenting time drifts — swapped weekends, changed holidays, summer schedules. Vireo keeps the custody calendar, messages and shared expenses in one timestamped record, so what actually happened is never a matter of memory.

Combine parents' adjusted gross income, apply the annual standard deductions to determine combined net income, interpolate/apply the RSA 458-C:3 percentage for one, two, three, or four-or-more children, allocate the total obligation between parents in proportion to adjusted income, account for obligee child-care/medical expenses as directed, apply the self-support reserve/minimum, and order medical support. Consider the 2025 shared-parenting presumptions/deviation criteria.
How income is counted: Gross income includes earned and unearned income from all sources listed in RSA 458-C:2, excluding enumerated public assistance and qualifying occasional/seasonal hourly overtime over 40 hours. Adjusted gross income subtracts ordered support and statutory deductions; net income then subtracts annual DHHS standard federal tax, FICA and Medicare deductions.
